So come and enjoy the many different aspects of the West Coast , which change constantly from arid desert conditions, to saphire blue sea as far as the eye can see, to lush vegetation in winter, as you travel northwards.. From Yzerfontein, we stop over in Darling where in the Flower Season you will find that flowers literally carpet the interior and then all way up the coast. Spectacular shows are held in Darling, which is also home to our very own Pieter Dirk Uys. Spoil yourself, and lunch at his wonderful Restaurant (see link, and book in for a show). |
Finding the way back along the R27….a visit to any one of the nature reserves along the way is a must, as the hospitality is unsurpassed. Perhaps you wish to stop in and have some refreshments, or stay a while. Langebaan is a great stopover, where restaurants are of world class, and cuisine is typical ‘West Coast Style”. An evening at the Casino is a great temptation, but its your money….spend it !! Water sports are the order of any day at Langebaan, and for the young this is the way to go, while you have a game of golf. Now relax a little as we visit Saldanha and Hopefield. |
