Saldanha, as you can see, is a real hub of activity, and it has a real claim to fame. It is the largest, and one of the most picturesque natural bays in South Africa. It too is one of the most popular getaways on the West Coast for whale watching, hiking and water sports.

Spend a day at the Saldanha Nature Reserve or travel on to the Hoedjiesbaai Hotel which is a great place to stop-over either for a mouth watering experience in seafood, or a stayover to rest.

Lets get going again, or perhaps you are in the mood for shopping. In Saldanha you will find many little shops with many ideal gifts and bric-a-brac to take home as a souvenir.
